Our Incomplete Tale

It was the first glance or maybe a magical night,
That stirred the heart with a gentle light.
No promises made, no names of love,
Yet memories rained softly from above.

The boy would silently steal a gaze,
Lost in her smile, caught in a daze.
The girl would pass with a quiet grace,
Yet her soul left whispers in that space.

They spoke less, felt so much more,
Reading each heartbeat from the core.
That old tea shop by the rainy street,
Was where their silent souls would meet.

They’d count stars together on the roof at night,
Or walk in cold winds, hand held tight.
Sometimes they'd fight, sometimes forgive,
In little moments, they learned to live.

But like every story, time brought a twist,
A turn in fate they couldn't resist.
She dreamed of skies far and wide,
While he kept her safe, right by his side.

And one day, silence spoke it all,
Without a word, they let the curtain fall.
Now the boy sits where the tea still brews,
And the girl lives in someone else's hues.

Yet love didn’t fade, nor did it die,
It still lingers deep, though they said goodbye.
A story that never found its end,
Became the one they'd always defend.
